THOMOND ARCH. AND HISTORICAL SOCIETY : On Monday 23rd November at 8pm at Mary Immaculate College (Room T.I. 17) Tara Building Dr. Helen Bradley Davis, Dept. of Geography Mary Immaculate College will give what promises to be a most interesting talk on the 1901 Census, People and place in Limerick City and mapping the 1901 Census. ALL ARE WELCOME.
At the same venue the AGM and social evening will take place Monday December 7th at 8pm. This is a wonderful occasion to meet old friends and new members.

Leave a Comment (0) →RATHKEALE & DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Rathkeale & District Historical Society wishes to remind readers that it’s Autumn series of lectures is continuing in the Community Arts Office which is part of the Limerick City & County Council Offices on the Ballingarry Road. This Friday night the lecture is entitled “Whiteboys of County Limerick,” and it will be delivered by Mr. Thomas Toomey. Thomas is a renowned historian and an accomplished author. He is a leader in the field of Limerick local history and this will be a talk to savour. The start time is 8.30pm and there is no admission fee. You and your friends are welcome.
