We had thirty people signed up last Friday night and over the next fourteen weeks we will be mentoring this group to see who will be crowned Ballybrown’s biggest losers for 2017. On Good Friday night one lady and one gentleman from the group will get this title bestowed on them and the odds are hotting up already as to who will take the prestigous titles. Dont worry if you missed last Friday night, there is plenty of time to go,so please come along and join us. It’s is hoped that we will arrange weekly walks possibly on Monday and Wednesday nights in Raheen and all the proceeds go in total to Fr. Pat Hogans “Calcutta Calling Fund”. Please come along and make sure to bring a few friends. See you on Friday night. Who will tip the scales ?

The horses have been in training all over the Christmas period and I hope that the Jockeys haven’t eaten too much turkey or plum pudding. A great fun night out is promised and you could break the bookies. A seventeen person group under the watchful eye of Fr. Pat Hogan will depart for Calcutta on Thursday January 19th for two weeks and we wish them well on their trip and assure them of our support with their great work.
